Editorial: Be careful out there

Posted on Dec 26, 2012 - 11:30 AM Printer Friendly View

The final weekend of the Christmas season is upon us and New Year’s Eve follows closely. The season for parties and socializing, that is, continues.

Too many hearts are broken every year due to traffic accidents caused by drunk drivers. We join the chorus of advertisers in this week’s issue who ask just one thing … if you are partying, please have a designated driver. Please, don’t drink and drive.

And if you are on the road, drive defensively. Lives can change in the blink of an eye.

To all: be careful out there. Make the new year start happily.
