Bowditch has specific plan to create jobs
I am honored to have several friends among the candidates for the 98th District’s delegate seat. I regard them all as good men, with sound positions. Sherwood Bowditch stands out, however, for the breadth and depth of his experience.
Sherwood Bowditch’s education and career provide him with a keen grasp of how an economy works. His many years of service in institutions ranging from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce to the Gloucester County Boys and Girls Club to the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic give him an understanding of the current and future needs of our district.
The 98th’s delegate in Richmond must be an effective legislator and advocate right out of the gate. Sherwood Bowditch has the wide range of skill and experience necessary.
Please read carefully both of the informational brochures Sherwood has mailed. The first details his conservative values, his determination to preserve the Chesapeake Bay, his plans for smaller government and less spending, and his first priority—creating jobs on the Middle Peninsula.
The second brochure lays out specific ways—seven of them—in which he can work to create jobs and promote business. Sherwood Bowditch has not made vague promises in this campaign. Instead, he has done his homework and come up with definite things he can work on as a legislator.
Voting on Aug. 23 is a duty, as well as a right. I urge you to cast your vote for Sherwood Bowditch.
