Ernest L. Coleman of Gloucester County, Va., passed away April 5, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Coleman Henderson and Robert Coleman, and one brother, Willard Coleman.
He is survived by a son, Ernest L. Coleman Jr.
He was a master bricklayer and an original member of the Bricklayers Union since 1950. He was a veteran and very proud of his accomplishments as a brick mason, working for Grace Kelly in the ’60s in Washington, D.C. He also was the foreman to an addition to the Smithsonian Museum. He was a lover of nature and took great pride in gardening; he also loved dogs.
There will be a celebration of his life at Skinquarter Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., on Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m.
