John Russell "Russ" Vincent Richards, 36, of Gloucester, died March 29, 2012.
Russ was a great guy who left us all too soon. He served his country in the U.S. Army for nine years and for the last several years had been associated with Puhlman Tree Service owned by two of his brothers and also employed at Damon’s Restaurant.
Russ always had a smile on his face and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, and was a Steelers fan. We will miss him, but keep him in our memories always.
He is survived by mother, Louise Richards; sister, Mary Grace Taylor; brothers, Randall, Richard, Terence, Jody and Corey Puhlman and Sean A. Richards; sons, John and Brenden Richards.
A service of Christian Funeral Liturgy conducted by the Rev. James Cowles was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family received friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment services will be at Ogletown Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
