Lynne Powell Sadler, known to her friends as Mappy, died April 2, 2012 in her home in Mathews, Va.
Born Dec. 27, 1922, she was a long-term resident of Mathews, moving there in 1946 following her graduation from Elizabeth Buxton School of Nursing and marriage to William A.
