Elizabeth Ann Cecil, 68, of Hayes, died July 28, 2011 with family by her side.
She is now with the angels and all the loved ones who have gone before her. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her yard. Ann was an inspiration to her family and lived her life full of compassion and service to others. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Her parents, Warner and Mamie Lee West; sisters, Joyce Ann West and Alice Britt; and brothers, Warner Jr., William, James and Alfred West, preceded her in death.
She is survived by husband, David L. Cecil; daughter, Mary D’Amico and husband Pete; sons, Raymond Jenkins Jr., Steven Ray Jenkins, Richard Collins Jr.; grandchildren, Jill Galindo and husband Mateo, Ryan Jenkins, Kelly Hendrix, Cassie Jenkins; two great-grandchildren, Bryanna and Derrick; sisters, Lillie Mae Holloway, Mamie L. Smith, Grace G. Smith, Elsie French, Juanita Bristow; sister-in-law, Wilma Lee West, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Wendell Gaffney were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family received friends Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
