Henry Ford Halsey, 88, passed away on April 29, 2011 in West Jefferson, N.C.
He was born in Piney Creek, N.C., and was an Army veteran of WWII. He retired from G.M. as a foreman after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Louise Halsey; his sons, Gerald Lee Halsey and Walter James Halsey.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Halsey and his wife Lynn of Grassy Creek, N.C.; his sister, Mabel Griffin of Bel Air, Md.; five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 2 p.m. in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.

Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
