Curtis Melvin Elbourn, 69, of Center Cross, departed this life on Nov. 22, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 12, 1944. Curtis was predeceased by his wife, Ruby Lee, and parents, Bud and Corintha Elbourn.
He is survived by his daughter, Jannie Mann (Stuart); grandchildren, Melinda Bryant, Tyler Moore, and Brianna Moore; brother, Carroll “Whitey” Elbourn, and numerous other family members and friends.
Curtis grew up on the water, working on fish boats and oystering and crabbing with his family, which fostered a lifelong love of the water. He served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Apac after approximately 25 years of service as a mechanic. After retirement, he spent his time on the water and traveling.
Curtis’s life was celebrated on Monday, Nov. 25, at Remlik Wesleyan Church.
