Willard Rosewell Rilee Jr., of Gloucester, 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Willard R. Sr. and Louise Thomas Rilee, and was the widower of Eleanor Jane Deal Rilee.
He served in the U.S. Navy, and was retired from the Gloucester Post Office. He was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his children, Gale Rilee Meagher of Mathews, and Gary Rosewell Rilee of Mathews; his grandsons, Willard Thomas Ober, Charles Allan Ober, and Maris Vernon Kerns, IV.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 581, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
