V. Darlene Crocker, age 68, of Bohannon, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012.
She was a native of Stoneboro, Pa., and a resident of Mathews County since 1987. She was employed by Bay Aging.
Survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward P. Crocker; daughters, Karen Dayrit (Carlos) of Foster, Shelly Cameron (Gregory) of Bohannon, Sherry Elmaayergy (Hatem) of Gloucester, Jacqueline Gerome (Steven) of Los Angeles, Calif., and Darlene Whitley (Jeff) of Wake, Va.; eight grandsons; two granddaughters; twin sister, Arlene Kinney; sisters, Betty O’day, Deborah Dick, Sally Hartner; brothers, David and Wayne Galentine.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home Chapel, Mathews. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery, Miles. The family received friends one hour prior to the service time.
