TOBY C. SPEIGHTS

Toby Cosell Speights, 33, went home to his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2011. He was born Oct. 25, 1977 in Marianna, Fla., to Eugene (deceased) and Nellie Speights of Greenwood, Fla.

He graduated from Marianna High School in 1997 and enlisted in the United States Army in August 1997. He was honorably discharged after 9 years of service and completing two tours in Iraq. He was employed by PepsiCo at the time of his death.

He is survived by wife Kenya Speights and three daughters, Kierra Dockery-Speights, Taylor Speights and Kayden Speights; his mother, Nellie Speights; his in-laws, Robert and Carolyn Brown of Gloucester; sister-in-law, Kayla Brown (Chris); brothers and sisters, Leamon Bryant (Tawnya) of Orlando, Fla., Diane Misher (Claude) of Odenton, Md., the Rev. Isaac Williams (Janie) of Pensacola, Fla., Zannie Williams Sr. of Greenwood, Fla., Marvin Williams (Lisa) of Greenwood, Fla.. Philip Speights (Diane) of Fayetteville, N.C., Van Gene Speights of Greenwood, Fla., Karie Speights of Lithonia, Ga., Alvin Speights (Trina) of Montgomery, Ala., Tongia Jackson (Ashley) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Anneatha Jones (Cletis) of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and a host of friends, extended family, nieces and nephews, and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Speights.

There will be a memorial service in Virginia and funeral services in Marianna, Fla., his hometown.

Memorial services for Toby will be held Friday, July 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. at J. K. Redmond Funeral Home, Route 33, Shacklefords, Va. 23156.

Funeral services will be held in Florida Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at 12 noon at Peoples Funeral Home, 2876 Orange Street, Marianna, Fla. 32448.
