SALLY MARGARET HUGATE

Sally Margaret Hugate of Mathews, died on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, surrounded by a loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvon and Ruby Forrest; brother, Alvon Jr., and sister, Naomi O. Hudgins.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew E. Hugate Sr. (Sweet-Pea); daughter, Vicki Carter and Charlie; son, Andrew E. Hugate Jr. and Libby, and daughter, Ruby Brown and Jeff; grandchildren, Andrew McElligott, Dawn McElligott, Richard Hugate, Alan Brown, and Susan Brown; great-grandchildren, Jacob Connor McElligott, Carter Moriah Hayes, and Miles Edward Hugate; sisters, Virginia L. Trask, Betty A. Greene, and Dian Green; brother, Robert H. Forrest; many nieces, nephews, and loving extended families.

She was a faithful member and leader of Westville Baptist Church. She worked her entire life as a CNA providing love and care to the elderly. Her love and passion for life was for the well-being and care of the elderly and children.

A celebration of her life will be held at Westville Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 1 p.m. followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.

Please make all expressions of love and kindness in her memory to a charity of your choice.
