Rebecca Lee Berry, 84, of Gloucester, died Aug. 5, 2011 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

She was a native of Gloucester, one of 18 children of the late William McKinley and Carrie West Smith. Rebecca was a member of Severn Church. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Berry; parents, sisters, and brothers.

She is survived by daughter, Carrie Bonniville and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Darlene Clevenger and husband George, Thomas Bonniville Jr., Lisa Bailey and husband Neal, Brandon Bonniville; great-grandchildren, Justin Mosbaugher, Jordan Mosbaugher, Hayden Clevenger, Abigail and Jack Bailey; sisters, Viola Bonniville, Mildred Belknap; brothers, Elias Smith and Franklin Smith.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Bill West and the Rev. Thomas Bunting were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Severn Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
