PATSY ANN FLANNAGAN

Patsy Ann Flannagan, 62, of Gloucester, loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond J. Lamontagne and Philomena Silvestre Tolley, and was born in Dover, N.H. She was a retired CAN, and was a volunteer with Riverside Regional Medical Center and also Mary Immaculate Hospital. She was also very active with the sewing group at Riverside for their Pediatrics Group; but her real passion was spending time with her grandchildren and attending everything in which they were involved.
  She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry William Flannagan; her daughters, Connie Ann Flannagan-West, Virginia Ann Wilburn and her husband David, Katrinia Ann Flannagan Longest; her stepfather, Lawrence King Tolley; her sisters, Frankie Weddington, Carol Tolley, Melanie Miller; her grandchildren, James William Smith, Hannah Virginia Wilburn, Kennedy Rachel Wilburn, Jessica Rae Smith, and Jennifer Lynn Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Lamontagne.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The family received friends following the service.

Memorial donations may be made to either Arthritis Foundation of Virginia, Suite 200, 3805 Cutshaw Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230; or Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
