A funeral for Martha G. Williams, 98, of Gloucester, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Union Zion Baptist Church, Schley. She died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011.
She was a native of Gloucester County, and a member of Union Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Alfred Griffin and William Williams. Survivors include a daughter, Portia Williams; brothers, Arthur Griffin and Christopher Griffin, and sister, Alvera Griffin.
The service was conducted by Pastor Willie Dickerson. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Howard Funeral Home, Ark, was in charge.
