Joyce Novetta Trim, age 58, of Crewe, Va., died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
She was born June 28, 1954 in Gloucester, Va., to the late Harry Wade and Maggie Viola Gray.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Lorraine Gray, and by her brothers, Faye Sinclair Gray and Harry Sinclair Gray.
She is survived by her fiancé, William "Woodpecker" Kniceley of Crewe; sons, Chris (Julee) McConnell and Alex Trim; daughter, Lisa (Brian) Jones, all of Crewe; sister, Clarice Mott of St. Cloud, Fla.; brothers, Thomas (Brenda) Gray of Mathews, Va., and William (Felicia) Gray of Gloucester; grandchildren, Brian, Allie and Steven McConnell, and Tori Jones, all of Crewe; a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. at Wards Chapel in Crewe.
Memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill or The Salvation Army in her name.
