Joseph S. Tremer Jr., "Papa Joe," age 81, of Cobbs Creek, Va., died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.
He was a retired supervisor with Dominion Virginia Power.
He was survived by his life partner, Virginia Clark; sister, Joyce E. Schmidt (BJ); brother, Robert W. Tremer (Martha); daughter, Kathy T. Noble (Bruce); granddaughters, Jennifer Wendt and Karen McKee; four great-grandchildren, and many more friends and family.
Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harry Loyd on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home Chapel, Mathews, Va. The family received friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Relay For Life, c/o Katie Dutton, P.O. Box 218, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035.
