On Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, John B. Walter Jr. passed away at Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A resident of Baltimore, Md., for most of his life, John lived most recently along the Chesapeake Bay in Hallieford, Va. He was the beloved husband of the late Judi Walter of Baltimore.

John is survived by his three children, Mark Walter (wife Lynda), Tracy Campbell (husband Frankie), and Kelly Walter; his sister, Susan Henschen; his two grandchildren, Nikkie Walter and Alyson Lokey, and his loving partner, Melinda Maddox.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Cvach Rosedale Funeral Home, 1211 Chesaco Avenue, Rosedale, Md. 21237 on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and for a memorial service on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Rosedale Recreation Council, 100 Mace Avenue, Essex, Md. 21221 or the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061, both of which were meaningful to his life and places where John volunteered his personal time.
