Jenny Carolyn White, 56, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
She was born in Newport News, Va. Jenny was a 1973 graduate of York High School and then entered Riverside Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for Riverside Regional Medical Center and also for Sentara Hampton General Hospital. At the time of her retirement in 1999, she was working for Sentara Home Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Thomas White Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Churchill Woods of Hayes, Va., and her sisters, Joan Deborah White of Newport News, and Jill Denise Reece and her husband Jason of Hadera, Israel.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.

Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
