A funeral for James L. Carter, 82, of Mathews, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Cobbs Creek. He died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene N. Carter; three daughters, Adele Kelley, Sharon Ferguson and Valerie DeBerry; sister, Mary Montaque; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 3-6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, and the family will receive friends from 6-7 o’clock.
