James "Jimmy" Edward Brown, 47, of Hayes, died Sept. 24, 2011.
Jimmy was a native of Gloucester County and a member of Union Baptist Church. He was owner of Jimmy Brown Seafood and spent most of his life working on the water and being involved in the seafood industry.
Jimmy was a gun collector and loved being outdoors. He will be sadly missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virginia Brown.
He is survived by wife, Cheryl Brown; daughters, Tina Brown and Melanie Brown; son, Dustin Brown; grandson, Aiden Brown; sisters, Peggy Sue Shackelford and husband Richard, Alice Marie Brown, Brenda Webb and husband Tommy; and brother, Phillip E. Brown.
Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Dr. Rodney Autry will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden. The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
