Posted on Feb 08, 2012 - 01:35 PM Printer Friendly View

Jacquelyn Yvonne Andregg (nee Smoot), 82, of Gloucester, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Smoot, and sister, Georgeanna Brown.

Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Darrell and three children, Darrell Jr., Donna Partridge and Theresa Adams; her sister, Joanne Darr of Hannibal, Mo., and brothers, Jim Smoot of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bill Smoot of Bakersfield, Cal. Jackie is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Elizabeth Haubert, Katherine Partridge, Megan Wehler, and Michael Gatzke, and three great-grandchildren.

Jackie was born in Mayfield, Mo. Her parents were Bessie Smoot (nee Washburn) and Charles Smoot. Jackie was a devoted mother and focused her time and energies on her family. She enjoyed bird-watching, her pets, and playing pinochle.

The family desires that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

A family memorial service is planned for her birthday, May 14, prior to interment at Windsor Gardens.
