FRANCIS C. DUVAL

Francis C. DuVal, 85, of Williamstown, N.J., died on April 2, 2011.

Born in Gloucester, Va., he lived in Havertown, Pa., before moving to Williamstown.

Mr. DuVal was a CPA for Robert Filter in Darby, Pa., before retiring. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He was a member and Past Master of the Botetourt Lodge #7 in Gloucester, and a member of the Cassia Mount Horeb Lodge #273 in Ardmore, Pa. He was a former member of the Sons of the Revolution and Union Methodist Church in Havertown. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Doris DuVal (nee Fitzhugh). Devoted father of Susan Whipple (Todd). Loving grandfather of Chadd Whipple (Lauren), Collin Whipple and Christopher Whipple. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Robert DuVal and Todd DuVal, and two half-brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the Sicklerville United Methodist Church, 406 Church Road, Sicklerville, N.J., where a service will follow at 11. Burial will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034 or to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, Conn. 06851.
