DANIEL JEFFREY NIBLETT

Posted on Jun 15, 2011 - 01:28 PM Printer Friendly View

Daniel Jeffrey Niblett, 54, of Hudgins, died June 11, 2011.

Danny was owner of Auto Max of Gloucester. Danny’s leadership in the auto industry spanned more than 40 years. Throughout his successful career in buying and selling automobiles, he never took credit for his accomplishments and attributed his success to those associates who worked with him, and being able to do something that he loved every day—selling cars.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and had many interests and hobbies including coin collecting, fishing, working in his yard and antique cars. Danny was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

His father, Robert Niblett, and brother, Gary Niblett, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Niblett; mother, Patsy Niblett; sons, Jeff Niblett and fiancée Pam, Jason Niblett and wife Amanda, Tony Volpe and wife Kristen, Joe Volpe and wife Christina, Vinny Volpe; grandchildren, Alexis Niblett, Mason Niblett, Joe Volpe Jr., Emma Volpe, London Volpe; brother, Larry Niblett.

A Service of Remembering Danny will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011, in the Chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Please bring your best stories and memories of Danny.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In memory of Danny, contributions can be made to the Danny Niblett Memorial Fund for Tornado Victims of Gloucester, Chesapeake Bank, P.O. Box 726, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
