A memorial service for Col. Alden A. "Bud" West, USAF-ret., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, in Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. He died July 24, 2012 at Patriots Colony of Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to James City County Fire Department, 5077 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, Va. 23188 or the Wounded Warriors Fund, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Fla. 32256.
