Catherine Bonniville Hall, 81, of Hayes, died Feb. 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.

Catherine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and friends. She was a wonderful homemaker and she especially enjoyed cooking and flower gardening. Catherine loved people, and enjoyed visiting and laughing with her loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Linwood Hall Sr.; parents, Dick and Peachie Bonniville; son, Thomas Linwood Hall Jr.; daughter, Debra Kay Crowder, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Hall.

She is survived by her son, Franklin Hall; daughters, Carolyn Heywood and husband Stanley, Catherine Melton and Sheila Horsley and husband Dennis; sister, Shirley Carmine and husband Wellington; brothers, Thomas Bonniville and wife Carrie Lee, and William Bonniville and wife Terri; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Geoffrey Thomas and Dr. Susan Brown, Riverside Walter Reed Hospice and Hannah Crabtree for the loving care and support given to Catherine and her family.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Bill West and the Rev. Deborah Morris were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the funeral home.
