Bonnie Lee McGuffee Grimstead, age 61, resident of Gulfport, Miss., passed away Aug. 4, 2011 in New Orleans, La.

Bonnie graduated from Gulfport High School in 1967, and was a member of Long Beach Community Church. She loved and devoted her life to her husband, son, grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Ray McGuffee Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Grimstead; her son, Rick, and her two grandchildren, Caley and Austin, all of Gulfport; her mother, Ethel McGuffee; her sisters, Theresa Murray (Danny), Annette Delaney (Steve); brothers, Dan McGuffee (Thele) and John McGuffee (Lisa), all of Gulfport; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Selena Gray and family of Mathews County, Va., which is Richard Grimstead’s home town.

He graduated in 1961 from Mathews High School, made a career in the U.S. Air Force and finally settled at 12530 Wolf River Road, Gulfport, Ms. 39503-8107 with his family.

Bonnie will be fondly missed by her family and all who knew her. May God bless each of you who remembered us during the loss of our loved one.
