Beulah Estelle Hogge, 80, of Gloucester Point, died Aug. 24, 2011.

She was retired from Ft. Eustis Supply Department, and was a long-time associate of Deal’s Tax Service. Estelle was an avid bingo player, a lover of flowers and her perfectly manicured lawn was the result of the many hours she spent working in her yard. She was a people person, made friends with everyone she met, and was passionate about her family. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther W. and Beulah Deal.

She is survived by husband, John D. Hogge Jr.; son, Donald Hogge; daughter, Juanita Joyce Ulmschneider; sister, Lucy Hogge and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Christopher Hogge, Jonathon Hogge, Victoria Johnson, Penny Hall; and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jullian and Jordan.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Dr. Rodney Autry were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden. The family received friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
