The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at its meeting Tuesday night in the colonial courthouse to consider an ordinance amending and revising certain utility fees, rates and charges. The meeting will begin at 7 o’clock and the public hearings start at 8.
Amendments to be considered during the public hearing will bring up to date the general penalties for violation of county ordinances; update and correct the names associated with the state Line of Duty Act; repeal the bad check fee provisions and add a section referencing and incorporating amendments to state law into Gloucester County code, according to county administrator Brenda Garton.
A second public hearing will make amendments to county code regarding general provisions.
Other items on Tuesday night’s agenda include a discussion on Watch for Children signs; Business Development Focus Group initial recommendations, and a request to redefine boundaries of Gloucester County Sanitary District 1.
Finally, a closed meeting is on the agenda to discuss a potential acquisition of an interest in real property.
