Lewis Burcher, dressed as the Cat in the Hat, went looking for candy during last Wednesday’s Main Street Trick or Treat along Gloucester’s Main Street. More than 25 businesses hosted an estimated 1,500 children. As a bonus, families who dined with costumed children on Main Street that evening received a 10 percent discount from several participating restaurants. The sixth annual event was sponsored by Gloucester Main Street Association, The Cook Foundation and the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. Photo courtesy of Gloucester Main Street Association.
