Four new employees started work for Gloucester County during August, human resources director Patricia K. Michura wrote in a Sept. 4 memorandum.
The new personnel included three in Social Services and one in utilities. Meanwhile, three part-timers left county service during August.
Also, Michura said that Evergreen Solutions, LLC was recently awarded the contract to conduct a classification and compensation study for the county. A kick-off meeting was held Aug. 20 to get that project started, she said, adding that current job descriptions, compensation policies, and a specific set of employee data will be provided to the consultants to assist in formulating a preliminary assessment of the county’s current pay system.
Michura said her office was recruiting for an emergency management coordinator, a specialty instructor for the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, and a planner for the Planning Department.
