Two men and a juvenile were charged after allegedly robbing two persons at gunpoint in the parking lot of Damon’s Sports Bar in Gloucester early Saturday.
The victims reported they were sitting in a car waiting for an employee when three black males with bandanas covering their faces ran up to the vehicle and demanded their belongings and money, according to Lt. Scott Little of the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred at about 2:50 a.m.
The victims turned over cash and an iPhone before the suspects ran back to a dark-colored Nissan Sentra and departed. Little said deputies canvassing the area south of Damon’s observed a car and its occupants matching the suspects’ descriptions traveling east on Hickory Fork Road and attempted to stop the vehicle.
Little said the vehicle initially failed to yield, but after a short pursuit the Nissan stopped on Ashley Street off Providence Road. One person got out of the car and ran while the other three males were taken into custody.
