The Mathews Planning Commission voted unanimously Tuesday night to request that the board of supervisors schedule a public hearing on a proposed village mixed use district for Mathews Court House.

The commission also requested a public hearing on revisions to definitions in the zoning ordinance that would be needed if the VMU district were adopted.
