GOP mass meeting

There were 467 who voted for the nominations, according to Warren Deal, interim chairperson. The Republican nominations went to Ashley Chriscoe for at-large representative to the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors, defeating Patricia Cowan; Holly Smith for Commonwealth’s Attorney, defeating Bob Hicks, and Larry Rilee for Sheriff, defeating Ted Koehl. Gloucester Commissioner of the Revenue Kevin Wilson, Gloucester Treasurer Tara Thomas, and nominees Tommy Wheat for Abingdon district board of supervisors and Chris Hutson for Gloucester Point district board of supervisors were uncontested and received the nomination.
