The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hear an update Tuesday night from the sign ordinance subcommittee during its regular meeting, set to begin at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse.
Following last month’s public hearing on the county’s proposed sign ordinance amendments, the board decided to have two board members sit down with the county attorney and discuss some of the ideas business owners and residents had regarding the changes.
The board is expected to vote on authorizing a resolution to advertise a public hearing to consider the subcommittee’s recommendations, according to Georgette Hurley, Gloucester’s assistant county administrator.
In other news, the board will hear an update on the April 16 tornado and the requests for proposals that were sent out for storm debris removal and will host a discussion/decision on the use of the county seal by the Boy Scouts.
No public hearings and no closed sessions are scheduled for Tuesday night’s meeting.
