The Mathews County Planning Commission will discuss a proposed plan for a Village Mixed Use District during a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse.

The document outlines density and design requirements, building sizes and standards, pedestrian and open space requirements, and suggestions for preservation of historic structures in such a district. It also includes the process for having a district approved.
