Wetlands board to consider three applications

The Mathews County Wetlands Board will consider three applications for construction that will impact wetlands during a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 in the historic courthouse.

Donald R. Davis of Port Haywood, has requested a permit to install 113 linear feet of riprap revetment along the Mobjack Bay at 647 Old Bayside Drive in Bavon.

Marguerite T. Landrum of Tulsa, Okla., is requesting permission to install 55 linear feet of armor stone revetment in place of a failing bulkhead and to place approximately 150 cubic yards of fill behind the structure to support the revetment in the areas of erosion. The project is located along the Chesapeake Bay on Driftwood Lane on Gwynn’s Island.

William Mark Stall of Newport News, is seeking permission to allow 12 feet of unauthorized vinyl retaining wall to remain in place on the North River at 11 Rose Cottage Lane in North.
