Procopi, Siegle to lead GHS class at graduation

Gloucester High School co-valedictorians Leah Elizabeth Procopi, at left, and Lee Ashley Siegle will address their fellow graduates during Saturday’s commencement ceremony at the College of William and Mary.

Leah Elizabeth Procopi and Lee Ashley Siegle are the co-valedictorians of the Gloucester High School Class of 2013, the school announced yesterday. Both students will attend the University of Virginia.

Procopi and Siegle will each deliver remarks during the GHS commencement to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at William and Mary Hall in Williamsburg. Procopi is the daughter of Greg and Patty Procopi; Siegle is the daughter of Brian and Holly Siegle.

Also scheduled to address the graduates are Class of 2013 president Karsyn Wass, GHS principal Tony Beverage and Chuck Wagner, assistant superintendent for instructional services for Gloucester Public Schools.

As of yesterday, 434 graduates were expected to receive diplomas during the commencement ceremonies.

The GHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2013 at 7 o’clock tonight in the school auditorium.
