Wetlands board approves two applications
The Gloucester County Wetlands Board approved two shoreline improvement applications following public hearings Sept. 8 in the colonial courthouse.
Robert L. Foster Jr. received permission to grade approximately 100 feet of existing bank to a 3-to-1 slope and install class II stone revetment, said Linda Walthall, permit technician in the Environmental Division of the Gloucester Codes Compliance Office.
In addition, Foster was allowed to construct a 50-foot stone breakwater with approximately 80 cubic yards of beach nourishment at the project site, which is located along the shoreline of the York River at 7089 Mumford View Drive.
