Tidewater S&WCD seeks volunteers for Envirothon

The Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District is looking for adult leaders and high school students to participate in the Dominion Envirothon presented by the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
Envirothon is a team-based natural resources competition for high school students who learn stewardship and management concepts while working to solve real-world environmental problems. Teams work through the year to learn and prepare for the local competition that can lead to state and national competitions.
A minimum of five students and one adult is needed to dedicate to the training and competition. For more information call the TSWCD at 693-3562 or visit the www.tidewaterswcd.org.
