Ospreys have arrived on local waters, a sure sign of spring in Tidewater Virginia. Adam Taylor photographed this osprey with its catch on Wilson Creek in Gloucester last Wednesday, March 6. Several other reports have come in to the Gazette-Journal about the arrival of the raptors, news that gladdens the hearts of winter-weary residents.
