A shoreline management study presentation that was cancelled last Thursday because of inclement weather has been rescheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. next Thursday, May 12, at Mathews Memorial Library.
Sponsored by the Mathews County Department of Planning and Zoning and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, the presentation will provide a brief overview of the county’s shoreline management study, then give those in attendance an opportunity to see recommendations for stabilizing specific stretches of shoreline using best management practices.
