Boys and girls throughout Gloucester and Mathews counties, and the rest of the world, will be waiting for the patter of reindeer hooves on their rooftops as the Jolly Old Elf makes his annual appearance. Santa Claus made plenty of appearances in the two counties in order to find out what to bring them for Christmas. Above, the Kilduff children, Rauri, Finnegan and Rhiannon, met Santa on Dec. 11 on Main Street in Gloucester. Finnegan is 5, and the Kilduff twins are 8. Photos by Charlie Koenig
The following Friday evening found Santa Claus over at the Mathews Visitor and Information Center, where he received a Christmas list from 4-year-old Carrie Hudgins.
