Blair Fairnholt, at right, led more than 70 landowners on a quail habitat walking tour around the pond at Elmington on Friday afternoon as part of a day-long Gloucester Quail Workshop. Much of the day’s events were held nearby at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs, Ware Neck, where landowners heard from wildlife experts on how best to landscape property to encourage Bobwhite Quail, songbirds and other species to rebound in the area.
