All county offices and courts in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed today and Friday for the Christmas holiday and Dec. 31 for the New Year’s holiday. County offices in Mathews will be closed Monday, Dec. 27, as well.

District courts in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed today and Friday for Christmas and Dec. 30 and 31 for New Year’s.

The E-Z Pass office will be closed Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Post offices will close at noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

DMV customer service centers will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week and Friday and Saturday next week.

ABC stores will close at 6 p.m. Friday and remain closed through Christmas Day. They will be closed again next Saturday for New Year’s Day.

Gloucester convenience centers will close at 5 p.m. Friday, while the Mathews Transfer Station will close earlier, at 1 p.m. All waste facilities in both counties will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Schools in both counties remain closed until Monday, Jan. 3.
