Motorists to experience delays on Norris Bridge

The Virginia Department of Transportation scheduled a routine inspection of the Robert O. Norris Bridge this Wednesday, June 27, and trenching operations there to start today.
The inspection was scheduled to run from midmorning to midafternoon, said VDOT spokesman Kelly Hannon, while trenching should cause delays for motorists through Friday, July 6.
The bridge is located on Route 3 over the Rappahannock River at White Stone.
