The skies were especially bright on Saturday, with what astronomers, astrologists and amateur scientists call a "SuperMoon," a phenomenon that brought a full moon to its closest approach to Earth in the past 18 years. At bottom above, Roxy Gwynn photographed the moon reflecting its light in the waters of Milford Haven, off Gwynn’s Island. At top, Roberta Shiflett of Gloucester, captured the many vibrant colors of the moon in these shots at Aaron’s and Bethel beaches.
