The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse on a proposed ordinance that would waive certain fees pertaining to construction and repairs necessitated by the effects of Hurricane Irene. The board’s regular meeting starts at 7.

According to a county notice, the duration of the waiver period will be through June 30, 2012.

In other matters, the board will discuss with Davenport & Company, the county’s financial advisor, the possible borrowing for the utilities fund; designate Virginia Association of Counties voting credentials for its annual business meeting and hear the financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.
