Monolithic Dome homes all over the United States, including one in Hayes, will be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, as part of the 10th annual Fall Dome Home Tour. Admission is free, but a $2 donation is requested for the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.

Monolithic Domes are steel-reinforced, concrete structures known for energy efficiency, durability and strength. The tour, sponsored by the Monolithic Dome Institute in Texas, is designed to raise awareness about these unusual buildings. Visit www.monolithic.com for details and more information.
