Clinic staff members and its board of directors hope to be in the new 9,000-plus square foot facility by next June.
It was made clear Monday morning that the progress and work the clinic has done and continues to do could not be possible without its more than 270 volunteers and the generous support of the community.
Ann Quinn, chair of the clinic’s capital campaign, opened Monday’s ceremony by calling the new building "the culmination of a dream many of us have had for a long time."
Clinic executive director Kay Bradley said the Bible states that for everything, there is a season. "This is our season," Bradley said. She compared the clinic to the "little engine that could."
